A freelance project for the rock & roll group Heavy Sauce. The main requirements from the client were for the logo to be clean, minimal, and scalable.
First Concepts
There was some guidance revolving around the typecase with client wanting a ‘bubble gum’-like font and I advised against it; deeming it a bit too naive or youthful for the direction the band wants to take and its listeners.
Revisions
We incorporated both the vision of the client and an effective logo that balanced texture and detail without becoming overwhelming or unsaleable.
